We have spent seven years researching and developing software for the construction industry. Our first application was called JobTrac and was highly successful and enthusiastically rated by users.

Convinced we could improve on this success, we re-wrote the software from scratch, using more powerful technology, and released this as JobVision ®.

We are now developing supporting computer software that runs on portable computers (Palm ™, Pocket PC ™, Tablet PC ™) that we believe are invaluable for a mobile workforce.

Trends for the future

There is an obvious trend for computers to become smaller, lighter, faster more powerful, more mobile and more pervasive. We think nothing of carrying more computing power in our back pocket in the form of a mobile phone than banks had at head office twenty five years ago.

But these devices are also interconnected. Which has enormous implications for how we use and interact with them.

The two trends combine to enable a future that is radically different from the past.

With the explosive growth of the Internet and these powerful computing devices, information has become infinitely more accessible and extensive.

In other words the Internet, by encouraging ordinary people to become publishers of information, and the new breed of computing devices allowing us to view that information, have brought us new possibilities that we will eventually exploit.
