BIOGRAPHY

As a child I often amused myself by drawing (there was no TV in those days). When I had children of my own I would encourage them to draw and paint, and that was the start of my art career.

I finally became a professional artist and tutor, and have been painting and teaching in all mediums for more than 35 years.

I have a studio in Wood Lane, Birchanger where I run one-day workshops in all mediums for students of all abilities.

I am a registered demonstrator with Art Profile, where my expertise is utilised by arts material companies.

My work has been exhibited widely in joint and one-woman exhibitions in the Home Counties and London galleries, and is in private collections worldwide.

My love of the countryside and nature contribute to much of my inspiration, which is reflected in many of my paintings.
